"If it had not been the Lord who was on our side, when men rose up against us^:Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.Blessed be the Lord, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth."

#Salvation5

It's like The ASTRONAUTS' SPACE SUIT! [Part 1]:-

Remember, it's like the Astronauts' Space suit! The Astronaut IS NOT HIS SPACE SUIT! Rather, the Astronaut is 'wearing' his Space suit to "exist" in a certain realm (probably like in OUTER SPACE where you got ZERO GRAVITY, wieghtlessness, and tempratures at obscure propulsions)! Just like the Astronaut, WE ARE "wearing" this BODY! Like the Astronauts' Space suit you are "wearing" your 'body' to exist in this 3Dimemsional realm called EARTH! The real person is the YOU in the inside of that "Earth-suit" called THE BODY. The You inside your "Earth-suit" is called YOUR SPIRIT. Your Spirit is the real person, BUT this "person" inside the suit has a RENEGADE COUNTERPART [**Why say 'renegade counterpart'??? see Next Part- Part 2] **This "renegade counterpart" of your "Earth-suit" is called 'The Soul'. The Soul is like an OXYGEN TANK for the Astronaut, that if the Oxygen runs off, the Astronaut drops dead in outer space! The Astronaut can't exist without his Oxygen tank! The Body too, can't exist without the Soul; And The Soul is not the REAL YOU, just like the Astronauts' OXYGEN TANK is not The Astronaut! See it like this: At CREATION, GOD put an 'App' (like a computer programme) in your body to make the body function properly; Like mounting an oxygen tank (with a specific storage) upon the astronaut, for the Astronauts' Space suit to function properly. Without that App (or the oxygen tank so to say), the body shutsdown! BUT this App becomes corrupted most of the times! (yea...like the oxygen tank for the Astronaut becomes infected with poisonous gas....yea...the reason why we see ourselves doing crazy stuff sometimes...yea...I get that!!!); HENCE, wherewith the reason,WE NEED to make UPGRADES of 'The App' By THE WORD OF GOD, for 'The App' (The Soul) to function at It's RIGHT-FULL CAPACITY. Know this: the Body you see in the mirror is like the Astronauts' Space suit....NOTE: The Soul is 'The App' that runs The Body (so to speak)....(or like an OXYGEN TANK that sustains The Astronauts' Space suit)....The REAL YOU is YOUR SPIRIT! Which functions at full capacity when 'The App' is UPGRADED....

*Giving your life to Christ is like making a pledge! A pledge to live for JESUS! (it's more than a pledge) but the word 'pledge' is used to help you understand how this great journey commences.

If you're NOT BORN AGAIN, you have not given your life to Christ, simply make this pledge right now, you can raise your right hand as you say it solemnly; (never mind, God is seeing you right now) say this: "Lord JESUS, I come to you today; I've been living my life for myself, but from today I want to live my life for You. I confess my sins today, write my name in Your Book of Life, for from today I will live for You; Thank You Lord JESUS. For in JESUS Mighty Name I pray, Amen."

Brother, sister, you are now BORN AGAIN! [Romans 10v9&10] Welcome to Your New Life.

#Salvation4

Now this is how it works: if you're having a good time now, stop, check: is it rooted in CHRIST? if the answer is "no", then beware, coz the good time ends here, and the end point is HELL. lemme give you a clue, when one dies outside CHRIST, the one finds himself (or herself) in a very strange environment, where people will be hurled from left and right like a herd of cattle by some strange mean babaric looking "beings". the one will be in the midst of hundreds of thousands of people that die per day (outside CHRIST) hurled from here to there, from here to there (like slaves), until the one (and others) end up in a very strange torturing environment, and the torturing continues. BUT, if one dies IN CHRIST, the one will find himself (or herself) wearing a bright white robe guided and guarded by numerous Angels, standing on a very high pedestal, overlooking a valley, the valley is more or less where the torturing is happening; so those that die in CHRIST can look and see the torturing going on down the valley of those that died outside CHRIST, from this "High Mountain" those that die in CHRIST proceed to be part of the Assembly of JESUS.

This is a fact that cannot be changed.

#Testimony1

(i took a time last night in retrospect and in remembrance...i deemed it necessary to share some 'throwback'...a word of "testimony" on many many things in time past which my life had come to bare..........**and many here, i suppose, may concur....*)

A certain night in OWERRI SouthEast Nigeria, a 'group picture which I was init' (a photo I took sometime with some 4 to 5 other fellas...)' was LAID down at a certain table surrounded by some blood thirsty "Amigos"(as a matter of fact, these blood hound 'janja men' surrounded this table, but more importantly, upon this table was the group picture which I was init surrounded by "Automatics"; 'Kalashnikovs' and probably 2 or 3 locally made....)...and one of the blood thirsty hombres (their leader most prabably) pointed at me in the group picture and said: "is he a so so and so?" The rest hombres all peered into the pix darkly with grim and gloom in their blood shut eyes I suppose; and one other of 'em (for no reason till date which I know not of; maybe as a defence mechnism to save my life ) said: "No he's not!"; And alas! An argument ensued (an argument whether Eze Igwe will live to see another day or no) but my "unruly attorney" in their midst won the "case" and it was concluded I WAS NOT one of the "so so and soes"! Then they gave me "a pass" (a kind of an 'okay')...and they slowly sheated their "swords", some reluctantly, while some, very doubtfully.

Meanwhile I was whereever I was that night feeling exquisitely very cool; not knowing that I could have bidded Earth good night on that certain night if care was not taken...

Now, how did I get to know this story (for most assuredly I wasn't in that meeting with 'em folks!).

When I finished my last paper in College (University)...I was joyful with 'CRYS'tls' popping as much as we could POP (with my men Obyno, and some 2 or 3 other men), But here comes this fella (with 2 other fellas) amidst my celebrations the fella approached me: (looking like a mordern day 'Tupac') he walked up to me and said: "Let me tell you a story, about a certan night that I saved your life......"

But I said unto you, That ye also have seen Me, and believe not. All that the Father giveth to Me shall come to Me; and him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from Heaven, not to do Mine own will, but the will of Him that sent Me. And this is the Father's will which has sent Me, that of all which He has given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of Him that sent Me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day." [John 6: 35-40]

#Salvation3

ONE DAY i made up a reconstruction of the travailing of the impotent man at the pool of Bethasda: a night before JESUS met with him he was inches close to his Miracle. but lo, his Miracle was yet still far away. we all know how the pool functioned in those ancient days, an Angel will stir the pool at random (that's at anytime, anytime of the day, and anytime of the year) no one knew when the stirring would occur. it could happen in 5 years gap, it could be in days gap. the stirring gave no warning, it gave no sign, no man knew when it will happen, just the most observant and 'fastest' to get into that pool FIRST when the pool got stirred would be healed. this certain man was crippled, and indisposed to be 'sharp' and fast enough for most 38 years. it was a sorry sight. because those that had fast and sharp loved ones to throw them into the water were racing against each other to make it into that stirred pool before anyone else; our man here stood no chance. ON THIS CERTAIN NIGHT, our man was awake (about in the middle of the deep night) and suddenly the pool was stirred! and luckily again he was the only one awake: "this is my chance!" he said to himself, "if only i could crawl into the pool now no one is looking, now i have no competition..." this he thought to himself...he then began his ultimate 3 yards journey to the stirring pool...he crawled...and crawled...the stirring was still on...everyone was fast asleep..."I'm almost there!" he rejoiced, as he crawled; "just little more, and I'm in!"; he could taste his victory, he began to picture on the faces of friends and family that would say "alas, you made it!" he could see himself in the pool...just a little more crawl and i'm there. BUT JUST AT THE TIP OF THE POOL, as he stretched forth his hand to enter, he heard a loud splash! a deaf man, with good legs and hands, unfortunately woke up suddenly and saw the pool stirring...he raced (like a cheetah) and dove into the pool (like an olympics swimmer) and that was it! the dreams of our man was gone! gone with the wind. gone, for another maybe 5 or 10 years of stirring. which he will be utmostly lucky to have such an opportunity again. oh! what great despair.

BUT

The next morning, JESUS came passing by...and the following ensued:

"when Jesus saw him lie, AND KNEW that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole? The impotent man answered him, Sir, I HAVE NO MAN, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool, but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me. Jesus saith unto him, RISE, TAKE UP THY BED, AND WALK. And IMMEDIATELY the man was made whole, AND TOOK UP HIS BED, AND WALKED..."
