A certain night in OWERRI SouthEast Nigeria, a 'group picture which I was init' (a photo I took sometime with some 4 to 5 other fellas...)' was LAID down at a certain table surrounded by some blood thirsty "Amigos"(as a matter of fact, these blood hound 'janja men' surrounded this table, but more importantly, upon this table was the group picture which I was init surrounded by "Automatics"; 'Kalashnikovs' and probably 2 or 3 locally made....)...and one of the blood thirsty hombres (their leader most prabably) pointed at me in the group picture and said: "is he a so so and so?" The rest hombres all peered into the pix darkly with grim and gloom in their blood shut eyes I suppose; and one other of 'em (for no reason till date which I know not of; maybe as a defence mechnism to save my life ) said: "No he's not!"; And alas! An argument ensued (an argument whether Eze Igwe will live to see another day or no) but my "unruly attorney" in their midst won the "case" and it was concluded I WAS NOT one of the "so so and soes"! Then they gave me "a pass" (a kind of an 'okay')...and they slowly sheated their "swords", some reluctantly, while some, very doubtfully.
Meanwhile I was whereever I was that night feeling exquisitely very cool; not knowing that I could have bidded Earth good night on that certain night if care was not taken...
Now, how did I get to know this story (for most assuredly I wasn't in that meeting with 'em folks!).
When I finished my last paper in College (University)...I was joyful with 'CRYS'tls' popping as much as we could POP (with my men Obyno, and some 2 or 3 other men), But here comes this fella (with 2 other fellas) amidst my celebrations the fella approached me: (looking like a mordern day 'Tupac') he walked up to me and said: "Let me tell you a story, about a certan night that I saved your life......"
